Junior CAD Draughtsman
Manchester
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum25 days annual leave + Bank holidays + Pension + Death in service compensation + Annual salary reviews + Medicash healthcare scheme
Monday – Friday | 37.5 Hours

We have been in the Audio Visual and Events for over 40 years and we are growing from strength to strength in both the UK and Europe. As an international integrator of AV solutions, we are able to offer an incredible amount of potential for growth and progression for the right candidate.

The Role:
You will be responsible for the design of high end AV systems within event spaces including stadiums, theatres and houses of worship.
Key duties include:
- To design AV rack layouts, cable schedules, elevations and block diagrams using AutoCAD and Sketchup design softwares.
- Work closely with Project Managers and the application team to understand the clients requirements and apply these to the design process.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and the latest AV products on the market.
- Assist in the creation of O&M manuals.
Essential Qualities and Skills:
- An understanding of elevations and schematic drawings.
- Hands on experience using CAD and Sketchup design software.
Essential Qualities and Skills:
- Knowledge or familiarity with AV control systems and audio DSPs.
- Experience with BIM or Revit.
In return:
If successful, you will be rewarded an annual salary of £25,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience.
You will also receive annual salary reviews, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and 3.5% pension contributions.
In addition to this, you will also be covered by a Medicash health scheme and death in service compensation of 2X your annual salary.
