Description

My clients are a bespoke manufacturer of engineering solutions along with a leading supplier of hydraulic, pneumatic and electric equipment into various sectors within these industries

Due to growth and the rapid increase of product demand my client is now looking for a Service Engineer to join their engineering team within the busy Tool Repairs team. The Service Engineer will be tasked with fault finding, servicing, functionality testing and repairing customers products or inhouse equipment that has been returned following hire.

Service Engineer / tool repairs

Location: Rotherham

£25,000 - £29,000 DOE, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, free on-site parking.

Working 37.5 hrs per week

Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:


  • Assemble and test tools to measure performance.
  • Document all work completed on correct documents.
  • Inspect and function test equipment.
  • Identify spare parts required to carry out repairs.
  • Dismantle products to establish issues.
  • Carry out various tasks depending on the business requirements.

To apply you MUST have or hold:


  • Experience in hydraulics / pneumatics is beneficial.
  • Time served apprentice in mechanical engineering or bench fitting would be ideal.
  • Able to read and understanding mechanic al engineering drawings.
  • Be able to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
  • Flexible working attitude.
