Technical Operations Manager
London | Hybrid

The Company:

The Role:
Ensuring the smooth operation of installed hardware and software on clients' sites globally whilst minimising downtime.
You will be managing a team of remote technical support engineers across multiple continents along with a Hertfordshire based warehouse team, acting as the main point of contact for any escalated technical issues ensuring faults are resolved quickly and efficiently.
Key duties include:
- Managerial duties such as absence management, disciplinaries, probation reviews and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
- Provide onboarding and training to new employees.
- To manage the rollout of proprietary software within client sites globally.
- Maintain communication between account management, software and music teams, keeping all teams informed of any updates.
- Management of proactive preventative maintenance to reduce the risk of software and hardware issues arising.
- Providing expert technical knowledge within client meetings where required.
Essential Qualities and Skills:
- Experience in providing technical support to proprietary software.
- The ability to think quickly on your feet in high pressure situations to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving mentality.
- Good all-round knowledge of IT, software and audio visual systems.
- 1+ years' experience managing technical teams within an IT/AV environment.
- Full UK Driving License
In return:
If successful, you will be rewarded with an annual salary of £45,000 - £50,000 along with 22 days annual leave, rising by 1 day per year up to 27 days! You will also receive access to virtual wellbeing classes, private GP calls and a life insurance policy.
To top this off, through the summer you will also be granted 2 early Friday finishes allowing you to be home, relaxing in the sun at 1PM!
The is a hybrid position allowing you to work from home whilst maintaining a presence in the office with some travel to visit clients where required.
