Operations Manager
Location: King's Lynn
£45,000 - £60,000 plus performance related bonus, company vehicle, fuel card or credit card, laptop, phone, company pension and 25 days holiday excluding statutory days

We are rapidly growing and as we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineering Operations Manager to lead our operations and ensure the successful execution of projects.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians
- Plan, coordinate, and execute electrical and mechanical engineering projects from initiation to completion
- Conduct regular project reviews to assess progress and address any issues or deviations from the plan
- Utilize basic CAD skills to review and contribute to technical drawings and documentation
- Apply hands-on mechanical and engineering experience to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges
- Collaborate between all departments, such as design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure integration and communication of engineers, consultants, and contractors
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and standards to ensure a secure working environment
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within engineering operations
- Assist in the development of budgets, quotations and proposals for electrical and mechanical projects
- Generate regular reports on project status, including key milestones, challenges, and solutions
- Undertake customer site visits to survey for assisting with design and build of projects
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Electrical or Mechanical qualifications
- Proven experience in a managerial role, with a successful track record leading & developing teams
- Project Management experience, demonstrating the ability to plan, execute and deliver projects on time and within budget
- Basic CAD experience for reviewing and contributing to technical drawings
- Strong leadership skillswith the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Hands on mechanical and engineering experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail orientated with a focus on quality and efficiency
- Full UK driving licence
