Smart Building Solutions Architect
£50,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance, Mileage, Company Credit Card, 33 days Holiday Entitlement, Pension, Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Hybrid Work + more
Location – London
The successful applicant will have an excellent understanding of BMS and HVAC controls with the drive to develop their skills both personally and professionally into the future of intelligent buildings.
The role will be working to project specifications to deliver smart building projects that may or may not include a final smart building platform, with an emphasis on data surfacing and data modelling so that a Smart Building platform can visualise the data in the required format.
The Solution Architect will have the ability to process complex issues and work with multi-disciplinary teams and technologies. You will need to solve the challenges of our customers and to lead the design and development solutions.
The Role:
- Successfully provide the technical requirement across multiple projects from start to finish ensuring that each project is delivered on time, and in accordance with the technical requirement detailed within the project specification.
- Assume overall technical responsibility for each project’s delivery through the formation and leading of proposed solutions in conjunction with the project team.
- Be the go-to technical resource for all client and trade system issue, assisting with designing smart solutions to ensure compliancy with the project specification.
- Ensure all technical documentation issued is of the required standard to fulfil the specification requirement.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and staff in all functions.
The Candidate:
- Experience with Mechanical and Electrical plant, HVAC/BMS, Air Quality and Occupancy sensors solutions as well as other systems.
- Good Understanding of DevOps
- Good knowledge and use of MS Office tools (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and MS Project.
- Knowledge and experience with HVAC/BMS Control Systems
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Current hands-on implementation experience required.
- Ability to write and modify graphics.
- Clean and full driving license
