Job Title: Audio Visual Design Engineer (8 month contract)

Option for Remote working

Salary: £32,000-£50,000

Monday - Friday- 9am-5.30pm(flexible)

The Company:

We have been in the Audio Visual and Events for many years and we are growing from strength to strength becoming one of the market leaders in the industry. As an integrator of AV solutions, we are looking to recruit an Audio-Visual Design Engineer for a temporary contract.

Job Purpose Summary:

The Audio-Visual Design Engineer will be an experienced AV professional with a comprehensive working knowledge of AV Systems and Video Conferencing technologies. This person will be competent and confident in a client facing environment and in collaboration with other trades to deliver enterprise level solution design for variety of audio-visual projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with the sales team, client, users, project managers, and other trade contractors in the design of audio-visual solutions.



• Production of detailed kit lists, and functional specifications and pre-sales information for AV/VC solutions to defined SLA timescales.



• Ensure solutions are of high quality, and align with ISDM's core principles of sustainable solutions, and thinking beyond the now.



• Production of audio-visual M&E drawings for power, data and cable containment.



• Production of audio-visual system schematics, cable schedules and network device details.



• Research and testing of new products and technologies to assess suitability for our customers and stay abreast of latest technologies.



• Attendance of internal and external industry training to ensure quality and understanding is maintained.



• Attendance of customer sites and meetings face to face to establish requirements and carry out site surveys.
