Depo Assistant

My client is a well-established full service hydraulic company. Established over 35 years ago they provide hydraulic support across the UK & Ireland with over 75 centres enabling them to provide a fantastic service. Due to recent exciting developments, they are now looking to hire a Depo Assistant at their Luton site. Being based within the depo this is a hands on, customer facing role and will require someone who is able to provide an exceptional level of service.

£24,000 - £28,000 Basic DOE, Bonus, 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, health care, pension, industry recognised training and qualifications.

Monday – Friday hours working 8am – 5pm

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Provide high levels of customer service.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and distribution.
• Assist Centre Manager with mobile engineers.
• Support all members of staff within the centre.
• Promote products and service.
• Proactively sell to both existing and new clients.
• Support inhouse technicians when required.
• Assist with general centre house keeping.
• Day to day operation of the sales counter area.

• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Experience within an engineering environment is beneficial but not essential.
• A desire to learn and develop.
• Good organisational skills.
• Be a Confident and professional individual.
• An interest in an engineering career is beneficial.
• Good levels of IT experience.
