Business Development Manager / Sales Development Rep

Territory: Midlands/ South

Salary (DEO): 35,000 – 45,000 + Benefits (Car, Open Ended Commission)
Career Progression, 25 days holiday plus banks, pension

We are one of the top packaging manufacturers in their area, operating from an expansive manufacturing, storage, and design site. As an independently owned company with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, my client at Westbury Packaging is committed to consistently exceeding your expectations. Our expertise lies in crafting, producing, storing, and delivering your packaging requirements, with careful attention to detail throughout the process.

Responsibilities:
- Spearhead lead generation efforts from the ground up.
- Strategically delineate and map market territories.
- Convert cold introductions into fruitful new business meetings.
- Actively engage in client meetings on a regular basis.
- Advocate for the Design, Manufacture, Distribution and Storage of anything corrugated.
- Deliver expertise in structural engineering and print specifications through consultative sales approaches.
- Collaborate with estimating teams to generate and submit quotes.
- Pursue leads and opportunities diligently, ensuring timely follow-up.
- Successfully negotiate and close new business deals.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships.
- Uphold consistent communication with clients through phone and face-to-face interactions.

To qualify, you MUST possess:
- Verified experience in selling Corrugated Packaging or similar products.
- Proficiency in managing the entire sales process consistently.
- Demonstrated skill in impactful cold calling, consultative selling, and successful closing methods.
- Proven track record in selling printed packaging or related print media.
- Established competence in B2B account management.
- Display self-discipline, sharpness, and persistence.
- Extensive background in field sales.
- Possession of a valid full driving license.
- Strong IT aptitude and adaptability to new software and systems.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Willingness to engage in various tasks beyond regular responsibilities.
