My client is a leading provider of packaging automation equipment mainly working on shrink-wrap & film machinery. My client is UK no 1 agent for numerous leading packaging lines and employs 38 staff across the UK with 6 other service engineers operating from the UK, company turnover 8m
The role
- Multi-skilled – Electrical Bias
- Electrical wiring
- Experience of 3 phase motors
- Mechanical understanding
- PLC fault finding- Allen Bradley & Siemans
- Experience of FMCG – Production Environment
- Commissioning of new machinery Breakdowns, service & installation
- International Travel minimal
- Background in service, maintenance, workshop, technician
- 2/3 night staying away from home
- Company are big on customer service, experience with dealing with clients
Qualification & experience
- Experience on machines of some description
- Some form of qualification (electrical)
- Ability to cover a service role with nights away
