My client is a leading specialist in designing and manufacturing products that are then supplied to various sectors around the globe. Over the years my client has developed specific technical ways to meet the demands of clients within sectors they work in, ensuring that they stay at the top of their industry. My client is looking to find an Accounts Clerk to join their finance team, providing consist support to various areas of the business.
Accounts Clerk
Blackburn Area
£30,000 - £33,000 Depending on Experience.
25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, healthcare package, company pension & sick pay scheme.
Workings Hours are Mon- Thurs 8.30am until 5pm and 8.30am until 1pm on Friday.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Process PAYE & VAT payments to HMRC.
- Liaise with HSBC invoice factoring.
- Manage Credit Control function, chasing outstanding debts
- Managing invoices to purchase orders and posting ledgers.
- Posting payments to suppliers.
- Resolve customer queries.
- Reconciling accounts on both sales and purchase ledgers.
- Manage the Finance Inbox.
- Daily/Monthly reconciliation.
- Compile month end suppler payment tuns to be signed off.
- Record new starter information.
- Add New starters to SAGE payroll.
- Send remittances.
- Process expenses.
- Run payroll, issue payslips and deal within employee queries.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- 4 years’ experience working within a financial department.
- Financial qualifications are desirable.
- Microsoft Office literate including excel.
- Knowledge of SAGE line 50 and SAGE 50 payroll.
- Experienced in working with ERP systems (SAP/SAGE/Oracle)
- Previous experience working within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Strong communications skills both written and verbally.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Good organisational skills.
- Able to prioritise workloads.
- Experience working to deadlines.
