My client is a leading UK manufacturer of Hydraulic Power Packs servicing a wide range of industries. Due to recent exciting changes within the company, they are now looking to add an external Business Development Manager to join their sales team. As a Business Development Manager the right candidate will be tasked with securing new business and area growth as well as maintaining existing accounts within designated area.
Business Development Manager
Covering the Midlands
£40,000 - £42,000 Depending on Experience.
22 days holiday plus 8 Bank Holidays, bonus, company car, pension, healthcare, mobile and laptop.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Regular client visits, presentations and product demonstrations.
- Participate in Divisional and Sales teams meetings.
- Work closely with your team to maximise sales opportunities and new business.
- Maintain company CRM.
- Solution sell at every possibility.
- Be well organised and prepared for sales discussions.
- Complete the required paperwork.
- Report all sales activities and KPIs to line manager and Group Sales Manager.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Experience of working in a similar role.
- Able to negotiate and make decisions.
- Flexible to work.
- Able to process and interpret complex information.
- Knowledge of Hydraulics / Fluid Power.
- Willing to participate in presentations.
- Able to use Microsoft Office – word, excel.
- Good organisation skills.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
