Role: Trainee Internal Technical Sales Representative

Salary: £29,239

Location: Gillingham, Dorset

My client is the largest privately owned lighting manufacturer in the UK. With over 40 years experience, their commitment to total service and in continuous investment enables them to be at the cutting edge of luminaire development, whilst remaining competitive, efficient and client focused. The area of the business you will involved in will provide custom designed LED solutions to commercial, industrial and retail environments.

Main Duties & Responsibilities.

• 3D presentation designer incorporating technical sales administration T(A)3PD+TSA.
• Answer incoming calls and assist customers with their enquiries and advise on item selection including, products, components and controls.
• Upsell where possible.
• Advise on installation and installation requirements.
• Advise on product operation.
• Undergo training on main stream architectural software.
• Produce 3D images of our product offerings in the clients required application with full written description.
• Produce wiring diagrams.
• Assist the Director where possible.
• Communicate with relevant departments on stock availability.
• Process orders to be confirmed by ITSR.
• New product introduction.
• Liaise with laboratories.

Requirements.

• Basic computer literacy.
• Good eye for detail.
• Ability to hold concentration whilst working in a fast moving, open plan environment.
• Confident telephone manner.
• Willing to learn the technical details of the product range sold.
• Reliable.
• Flexible.
• Smart appearance.
• Revit experience (preferred but not essential, training will be given).
• AutoCAD experience is essential.
