We are looking for a dedicated Transport planners to join our team in Weston-super-Mare. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling work for drivers and ensuring the safety and welfare of vulnerable adults and children.
The Role
My client is looking for an experienced Transport planners to join a team of 2 in the Passenger Transport industry. You will be scheduling work for drivers to ensure efficient and timely operations. You will be on-call to handle any issues that arise outside of regular working hours. Safeguard and ensure the welfare of vulnerable adults and children. Manage and coordinate responses to vehicle breakdown, address welfare concerns and provide necessary support.
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in a similar role or related field
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations
- Be a team player
- Understanding of EU regulations
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
- Timekeeping
The Role
