Position: M&E Mobilisation Engineer / M&E Engineer
Location: Cambridgeshire
Salary: From £40,000 to £43,000 plus vehicle, travel time and overtime
Duration: Permanent
We are looking to fill a new and exciting position as a Mobilisation Engineer for a very well established building services company.
This position would be a great step up for an experienced M&E Engineer who is looking to come away from the tools to step into position which will still use the technical skills but to also take that progressional step into the office.
This role will be working very closely with the Sales Team, Design Team, Estimating Team and Contract Managers in relation to new Service Contracts.
This role will involve travelling to sites across the UK to conduct asset reports in relation to ahu's, air conditioning, alarm systems, electrical maintenance etc. They will also be working through the contract and floor plan so that all items are noted by location and condition. With this reporting back to the sales team any issues that may have arisen.
The right person for this position will be from a technical M&E Maintenance background with a good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance. They will need to have some experience with site surveys and risk assessments and be IT literate. Training on the condition reports will be provided.
This role will involve traveling and staying over night a couple of nights a week, occasionally on a large project they may have to stay for a full week.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge of M&E Maintenance
- Full UK driving licence
- IT literate
- Happy to travel across the UK when need and stay away from home a couple of nights a week
- Must be willing to learn and be driven to take a challenging position
- It would be an advantage if this person has already got some experience in dealing with condition reports
