Description

My client is a well-established manufacturer within fluid power components offering a range of services and products within a large variety of industries. Boasting world class manufacturer sites, global distribution and a 24/7 breakdown service, they are an expanding company looking for hungry individuals to join them. Due to the exciting period of growth my client is looking for a Branch Manager to run their Swindon site. As Branch Manager you will be a positive individual that thrives in a fast paced environment with extensive knowledge of Hydraulics and the ability to grow the desk through business development for hydraulic hoses, parts and 24/7 engineering services.

Branch Manager

Swindon

£35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

Company vehicle, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, laptop, phone, credit card and private pension.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:


  • Attend and represent the company at industry recognised trade shows and exhibitions when required.
  • Liaise with UK Sales Manager to identify potential clients.
  • Overall management of the trade counter function ensuring functions are up to company standards and in line with ISO and UK regulations.
  • Processing of orders, quotes and technical data.
  • Monitor and manage sales and service engineers on site.
  • General administration duties and team support when required.
  • Stock control – responsible for trade counter and engineers’ vans on site.

To apply you MUST have or hold:


  • Knowledge of Hydraulics – Hydraulic hoses, fittings and pneumatics.
  • Experience working within hydraulics.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Proven sales and negotiation experience.
  • Good communication, customer service, business development and relationship building.
  • Good understanding of HSE and PPE.
  • Computer literate – MS Office
  • Able to prioritise workload.
  • Strong team player with a “can do “attitude.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join a growing company and oversee a brand new site.

You must be flexible with working hours and available for required on call work.
