Join our close-knit team where every member has a voice and the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the company's growth. As a Lead AV Engineer, you will be responsible for installing audiovisual systems in prestigious venues throughout the UK and overseas.
Job Purpose Summary:
Lead the installation of AV systems in various environments, primarily in the South East of England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform 1st and 2nd fix installations of sound systems, lighting, VC systems, screens, digital signage, control systems, and cabling infrastructure.
- Provide guidance and training to Junior Engineers.
- Serve as the main point of contact on-site for client updates and inquiries.
- Interpret schematic drawings.
- Assemble audiovisual racks in the warehouse and on-site.
- Assist programmers in commissioning audio DSPs and control systems where required.
- Occasionally attend service calls and preventative maintenance visits.
- Be willing to travel and work away from home, when required.
- Maintain a safe and tidy workspace.
- Adhere to health and safety policies.
Qualities and Skills Required:
- Hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
- Have at least 3 years of experience as an AV Engineer.
- Demonstrate a willingness to travel and work away from home, when necessary.
In Return:
If successful, you will receive an annual salary of between £35K - £40K, depending on experience. You will also have the opportunity to earn overtime rates of up to 1.5X.
Continued training and certifications will be provided, along with 20 days of annual leave, bank holidays, and your birthday off.
All necessary tools will be provided, and travel expenses will be covered. If working away from home, you will receive paid accommodation, meals and an overnight bonus.
