Position: Sprinkler Design Engineer

Location: Sutton

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £40,000 to £55,000 subject to experience level, 25 days holiday, Pension, Laptops and Phones provided.

We are looking for an experience Sprinkler Design Engineer for a full time, permanent position within a very well-established company with offices based in Surrey.

This position will be dealing with the full design of commercial and industrial sprinkler system for refurbishment and new build projects on sites that include, hospitals, schools, airports and shops.

They will be dealing with the design of the full mechanical side of the projects, which will include working very closely with the sales managers and project managers in relation to completing site surveys, full drawings and measurements, adjustments when needed etc.

The right person for this position will have a basic design course certification and a strong understanding of Sprinkler regulations in line with BS 9251.

They will need an understanding of how to use 2D and 3D CAD design systems.

This is a Hybrid position with at least one working day in the office.

(This is not a contract role)

Requirements

• Experience as a Sprinkler Design Engineer/ Person
• Must have a basic design course qualification.
• It would be a major advantage if this person has worked on refurb and new build projects.
• LPCB competency course would be a major benefit
• CAD experience
• Based in a commutable distance to Sutton
• Must be willing to go to the office 1 day a week.
• Strong understanding of the BS 9251 regulations.
