Company Overview
My client's Consulting division is leading the way on major decarbonisation engagements, helping them achieve their mission to deliver innovative solutions that enable businesses to make significant changes. Their team is expanding rapidly, welcoming specialised expertise and encouraging exciting collaboration. I am looking for a proactive Senior Energy Transition Consultant to join their national team to optimise the world's transition to net zero and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Feasibility Studies: Conduct onsite feasibility studies to identify opportunities for energy, carbon, and cost savings.
- Systems Analysis: Interrogate systems to develop innovative solutions for optimisation and decarbonisation.
- Technical Reports: Develop technical reports and investment-grade business cases with detailed impact forecasts covering energy, emissions, and cost reductions.
- Data Analysis: Perform detailed trend and exception analysis of high-frequency data to explain inefficiencies and model the impact of proposed interventions.
- Net Zero Alignment: Align scope 1 and scope 2 reduction programs with wider Net Zero transition plans.
- Client Advising: Advise clients on new decarbonisation technologies, incorporating the latest thinking on integrated systems and Business Intelligence (BI) applications.
- Presales Activities: Contribute to presales activities including new business meetings, site surveys, scope development, and sales efforts.
- Team Development: Support the development of the Consulting team, including resources, capabilities, systems, processes, and innovation.
- Methodology Development: Develop consistent methodologies for feasibility studies, technology reviews, process assessments, and financial modelling.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services degree-level qualifications or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in energy, BMS, or renewables audits, and/or delivering control optimisation programs in various client sectors.
- Technical Understanding: Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, and Utility Infrastructure.
- Commercial Awareness: Understanding of UK Government energy policy and incentives.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to develop accurate assessments and reports to a high standard.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly E
