Salary: £40k-£50k plus benefits

Job Summary:

The BMS Engineer will be responsible for service, maintenance, and commissioning of control systems within the company’s portfolio. This role requires the ability to commission, demonstrate, and hand over BMS projects of various sizes and types, as well as provide ongoing maintenance and service attendance within a diverse portfolio of sites. The BMS Engineer will work closely with the relevant Project/Contract Manager to provide and maintain fully functional systems on time and within budget. Complete ownership of scheduled tasks is essential, ensuring activities are completed professionally and thoroughly to achieve high-quality service output. Reporting to the Project/Contract Manager and Technical Director on each project/job, the Engineer will provide progress updates and status reports for the BMS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support and guidance to project electricians as needed.
• Develop commissioning sheets, reports, and methodologies to achieve project/job completion.
• Maintain strict compliance with quality work and safety rules.
• Conduct post-install commissioning/maintenance of building management systems (Trend, Cylon, Priva, Tridium, or Honeywell & Integration).
• Deliver outstanding customer service at all client levels.
• Write or modify software where necessary.
• Perform points-to-points commissioning.
• Execute graphic modifications and upgrades.
• Calibrate sensors and actuators.
• Maintain awareness of project budgets to deliver quality work within budget.
• Demonstrate full BMS to clients and end users, providing user training.
