Overview

As a Lighting Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing entertainment lighting equipment in our workshop. You will diagnose issues, troubleshoot, and perform component level repairs on a variety of lighting fixtures and control systems. This role requires a strong understanding of entertainment lighting technology and a passion for providing top-notch service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair entertainment lighting equipment in a workshop-based setting
• Diagnose issues and troubleshoot problems with moving lights, lighting consoles, and LED lighting fixtures
• Perform component level repair and soldering as needed
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in lighting technology
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients

Qualifications

• Experience within a service/repair role in entertainment lighting or similar field
• Strong knowledge of DMX, Artnet, moving lights, lighting consoles, and LED lighting fixtures
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues efficiently
• Experience with crimping and soldering
• Component level repair experience would be highly beneficial
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
