Location: Northamton/Cambridge
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 DOE
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Service Engineer to join our well-established team in Crawley. With over 20 years of experience, we specialize in security service and maintenance, providing CCTV, intruder, fire, and access control systems to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Respond to demand service calls and perform corrective and preventative maintenance on security systems
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for service calls and maintenance tasks
- Conduct thorough system diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships
- Travel to client sites as necessary and maintain flexibility in working hours
- Utilize company-provided vehicle and technology tools such as laptop and iPhone for work-related tasks
- Participate in personal development plans to enhance technical skills and knowledge
- Complete background checks, referencing, and DBS checks as required for the role
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a multiskilled security engineer, with expertise in CCTV, intruder, fire, and access control systems
- Valid UK driving license and flexibility to travel to client sites, with willingness to work on a door-to-door basis
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills to efficiently manage service calls and maintenance tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service
- Commitment to personal and professional development
Day-to-Day
As a Security Service Engineer, you will be responsible for responding to demand service calls, performing maintenance tasks on security systems, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This will involve traveling to client sites using a company vehicle, utilizing technology tools such as a laptop and iPhone, and participating in personal development plans to enhance your skills and knowledge within the field.
