Location: South London
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Alarm Service Engineer to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional fire and security engineering services to various commercial establishments including schools, hotels, and retail spaces.
Responsibilities
- Conducting maintenance, servicing, and repairs of fire and security systems in a wide range of commercial settings
- Providing training and support to clients on the proper operation and maintenance of alarm systems
- Utilizing technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire and security systems
- Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with industry regulations and health and safety standards
- Responding to emergency call-outs and effectively communicating with clients to address their needs in a timely manner
- Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive client relationships
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a multiskilled fire and security engineer, with proficiency in systems such as Kentec and Advanced
- Strong understanding of fire and security systems in commercial environments, with a focus on delivering high-quality service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide training and support to clients
- A valid UK driver's license and the ability to travel to various client locations
- Relevant industry qualifications and certifications are highly desirable
- Commitment to health and safety standards and regulations
Day-to-day
- Traveling to client locations within London to carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs
- Providing on-site training and support to clients on alarm system operation and maintenance
- Communicating with the team to coordinate work schedules and respond to emergency call-outs
- Ensuring all paperwork and documentation is accurately completed for each service visit
- Upholding the company's commitment to exceptional customer service and professional conduct at all times
