Fire and Security Engineer
Location: London and Home Counties
Salary: £30,000 - £42,000 DOE
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Engineer to join our team in Greater London, providing security solutions across London and the Home counties. As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and service of access control systems, CCTV, intercom, and security products in both commercial and residential settings.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission access control systems, CCTV, intercom, and security products.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of security systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Provide high-level customer service while on-site, addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective security solutions.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security system installation, maintenance, and service.
- Knowledge of security products from leading manufacturers such as Paxton, Honeywell, Hikvision, and Avigilon.
- Experience with intercom systems is a plus.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Day-to-day
- Installing and configuring access control systems, CCTV, and intercoms at client locations.
- Conducting routine maintenance and addressing service calls as needed.
- Collaborating with the team to design and implement customized security solutions.
- Providing excellent customer service and support to clients.
- Keeping detailed records of work performed and materials used.
- Upgrading and expanding security systems as needed to meet client requirements.
