My client is a reputable machine tool agency providing Taiwanese and European solutions to manufacturers across the UK. They are currently looking to hire several experienced Area Sales Managers to join their dynamic team, due to significant growth in demand. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to specialize in their impressive product portfolio and develop professionally under the mentorship of the highly experienced Sales Director. The ideal candidate will have experience in project-based sales, as the machines are large and high-value with longer sales cycles. There are ample opportunities for career advancement within the company, and they seek an ambitious individual to expand the area.

The Role:

• You will report to the Sales director to generate forecasts.
• You will identify new business leads and follow up on the leads.
• You will liaise with the telesales team to follow up on their leads.
• You will meet and consult with existing accounts and prospects to identify where you can provide a solution.
•  You will oversee the projects from first contact to closing stages with a range of clients from SME’s to Blue chip clients like Rolls Royce and British Steel.

The Candidate:

• A full, clean driver’s license.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Experience selling large sized machine tools is preferable as the AOV ranges from £400,000 - £1.2 million.
• Experience within a tooling sales role is also welcomed.
• A network of connections within the industry for new business is also desirable
• A driven and motivated individual with fantastic communication and negotiation skills.
