Fire Alarm Engineer
Location: Buckingham/London
Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 DOE
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Alarm Engineer to join our family-owned business in the Buckingham and London areas. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in commercial and residential properties
- Perform fault finding and diagnostics on various fire alarm systems, including Kentec, EMS, Advanced, and Appollo
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including FIA qualifications
- Keep accurate records of work completed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on industry advancements and best practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fire alarm installation, maintenance, and fault finding
- Familiarity with a range of fire alarm systems, including Kentec, EMS, Advanced, and Appollo
- FIA qualifications are essential
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Valid driver's license
Day-to-Day
- Travel to various job sites within the Buckingham and London areas
- Install, inspect, and repair fire alarm systems according to client needs and specifications
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any client concerns or questions
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
