The Company:
A creative technical event production company specialising in creating memorable corporate events, experiential events and product launches that provide their clients with unforgettable experiences.
We are now looking for a venue based AV Technician to join the team, offering meeting room and event support for a prestigious venue in Birmingham city centre.
Position Overview:
As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for providing on site technical support across the venue, ensuring that all events and meetings run smoothly. Your main duties will include setting up for events, carrying out basic troubleshooting, and operating AV equipment when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily meeting room checks.
- Provide 1st line meeting room and event support.
- Set up and shutdown of AV equipment before and after each event. This includes setting up sound desks, PA systems, microphones, and presentations.
- Proactive fault-finding and troubleshooting any AV faults.
- Operation of AV equipment during events where required.
Requirements:
- Basic level experience with AV/IT equipment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- A willingness to work extended hours where required.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience operating audio visual equipment for corporate events.
- Good all round knowledge of lighting and audio systems would be beneficial but not essential.
Package:
- Salary: £26,000 - £27,000
