Location: Reading
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE
Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Security Service Engineer to join our team in Reading. The ideal candidate will be a Multiskilled fire and security engineer with a strong background in servicing and maintaining intruder alarms, CCTV systems, access control, and fire systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing outstanding service to our clients, responding to demand service calls, and ensuring the corrective and preventative maintenance of all systems.
Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining intruder alarms, CCTV systems, access control, and fire systems
- Understanding client needs and delivering outstanding service
- Responding to demand service calls in a timely and professional manner
- Updating and maintaining service documents and records
- Demonstrating drive and enthusiasm to deliver exceptional results
- Participating in a personal development plan to enhance skills and knowledge
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a multiskilled fire and security engineer
- In-depth knowledge of servicing and maintaining intruder alarms, CCTV systems, access control, and fire systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving license
Day-to-day
- Conducting routine servicing and maintenance of security systems
- Responding to service calls and resolving issues promptly
- Documenting service activities and updating records
- Collaborating with clients to understand their specific security needs
- Participating in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
