Business Development Manager

My client is a company within the fluid power sector renowned across the market due to their product quality, service levels and extensive knowledge of the industry. Due to a fantastic period of growth, they are looking to add a driven Business Development Manager to their sales team covering the North West (M62 Corridor). My client is a distributor of high-quality products from leading brands such as Parker and Hydro Leduc. This role is for a driven sales professional who can develop sales whilst managing existing accounts to maximise growth in the territory covered.

Business Development Manager

Location: North West – Covering the M62 Corridor  

Package: Basic £38,000 - £45,000, (OTE £50,000 - £55,000) Company car, credit card, fuel card, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays and pension scheme.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Develop and build relationships with clients.
• Establish a strong relationship with existing clients.
• Work closely with clients to offer technical support, quotations and training whilst visiting sites on a regular basis.
• Source potential new leads in your area.
• Report to the GM and be able provide reports / updates on clients when required.

To apply you MUST have or hold:

• Strong organisational skills.
• An understanding of Hydraulics / Fluid Power.
• Focused and driven to be successful.
• An ability to work closely with clients and colleagues of various levels.
• Background in account management or sales.
• Knowledge of EV for truck, mobile equipment would be beneficial but not essential.
• Good communications skills both verbally and written.
• Full UK driving licence.
