Field Service Engineer with an electrical bias for an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of packaging machinery. The position is based in the South of England (Southampton, Reading, Worthing, Crawley areas), with a salary range of £35,000 - £40,000, plus benefits.

Company: OEM specializing in packaging machinery for the FMCG food industry. Over 100 years of experience and 30 staff in the UK.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000, with 5/10k OT available

Responsibilities:
- Service, install, repair, and maintain packaging machinery.
- Read electrical diagrams and fault-find on PLCs.
- Wiring & re-wiring
- Basic mechanical engineering
- Work on 3-phase & single-phase motors.
- Wiring/re-wiring control panels, understanding of actuators.
- Handle HMI, networking, Ethernet cabling, changing IO cards and IP addresses.
Requirements:
- Electrical qualification.
- Field service experience in capital equipment preferred.
- Willingness to travel with 3-4 nights per week away from home.
