Description

I am excited to present a new opportunity for a New Business Advisor to join a world-renowned corrugated distributor with an impressive annual turnover of over £60 million. This company has experienced regular year-on-year growth across the UK and Europe and is now seeking a driven individual to support their continued success.

New Business Advisor

Location: UK

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 + Benefits,

Commission Scheme: £2,000 annually, Life Insurance: 3x salary, Healthcare Benefits, Pension Scheme: Auto-enrolment, Holiday: 23 days plus bank holidays (increasing to 25 days), Additional Benefits: Complimentary breakfast & lunch provided on Mondays and Tuesdays

Overview

As a New Business Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and acting as a liaison between Customer Services, External Sales, and other departments within the business. You will also provide support to the external sales team by handling inquiries, processing quotes, sourcing products, and calling customers to maintain, develop, and generate new business opportunities.

Your role will also involve coordinating customer complaints and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction across multiple market sectors.

Responsibilities:


  • Act as a key point of contact between internal departments and the external sales team.
  • Process and follow up on quotes, source products, and ensure timely response to customer inquiries.
  • Proactively call existing and potential customers to maintain and develop business relationships.
  • Identify and generate new opportunities to support the company’s growth and expansion plans.
  • Coordinate and resolve customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Essential


  • Experience in a customer service, sales support, or account management role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to contribute to business growth.
  • Experience in or knowledge of the corrugated or packaging industry would be an advantage, but not essential.
