Up to £18 per hour
45 hours per week
East Midlands
20 days holiday plus banks, company van, pension, on going trainingOverview:We are currently seeking a skilled HGV/Plant Fitter to join our team in the East Midlands. This role will involve both workshop and mobile work, maintaining a range of construction plant hire equipment including tippers, low loaders, road sweepers, 22 tonne excavators, and 8 wheel tippers.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of construction plant hire equipment
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
- Carrying out inspections and servicing of HGVs and plant machinery
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- NVQ in vehicle maintenance and repair
- HGV licence
- Proven experience in a similar role
Day-to-Day:As an HGV/Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of construction plant hire equipment. This will involve a combination of workshop-based tasks and traveling to different locations within the East and West Midlands.
