AV & Lighting Service & Repair Technician
Manchester
Salary: £35,000 - £44,000
Working Hours: 08:30 - 17:30 | Monday - Friday (Flexible hours available)

About the Company:
A full service technical event production company providing audio, lighting, video and rigging equipment for corporate events, private parties, sporting events and more.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for servicing and repairing AV, cabling and entertainment lighting equipment in the workshop.
Key Duties:
- Service and repair entertainment lighting and audio visual equipment in the workshop
- Management of stock with regards to consumables and any required spare parts
- Diagnose issues and troubleshoot problems with moving lights, lighting consoles, and LED lighting fixtures
- Repair of cables: multi pin, DMX, microphone cables, speaker cables, XLR
- Perform component level repair and soldering as needed
- Maintenance of tools and workshop equipment
- Adhere to health and safety policies
Experience / Skills Required:
- Experience in carrying out repairs on lighting or AV equipment is essential
- PAT Testing experience
- Relevant degree or qualification in electronics would be beneficial
- Experience with crimping and soldering
- Component level repair experience
