Location: London & Southeast
Salary: £50,000 – £71,000 + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits Package (supporting finances, wellbeing, and family)

Position Overview:

My client are seeking an experienced and highly motivated BMS Commissioning Manager to join their dynamic team, covering London and the South East. This pivotal role involves managing key Building Management System (BMS) commissioning projects, ensuring high standards of delivery, and leading a team of engineers to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Commissioning Duties:

• Commission BEMS and control systems according to project and customer specifications.
• Develop custom software strategies and graphics.
• Perform wiring checks, plant start-ups, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to foster a high-performance project culture.
• Support validation processes and ensure smooth project handover.

Team Management:

• Oversee and allocate resources for a team of engineers.
• Plan, monitor, and ensure team performance aligns with project and departmental objectives.
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety protocols, company procedures, and national standards.
• Identify skills gaps, provide training opportunities, and oversee completion of project documentation (e.g., RAMS, O&Ms).

Required Experience & Skills:

• Technical Expertise:


• Extensive experience commissioning BEMS and control systems.
• Strong proficiency in Siemens PX and Trend IQ4 systems.
• Knowledge of Siemens Desigo CC, Trend IQ Vision, and integration protocols such as M-Bus, Modbus, and BACnet.


• Leadership & Management:


• Proven experience in managing and motivating engineering teams.
• Ability to allocate resources effectively and monitor team performance.


• Communication & Organization:


• Excellent communication, report-writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to manage multiple contracts and customer relationships simultaneously.

Qualifications:

• Relevant technical qualifications in BEMS, control systems, or a related engineering field.
• Demonstrable track record in BMS commissioning and team leadership.
• Full UK driving license (essential due to travel requirements).
