Business Development Manager

They are seeking a driven and ambitious Business Development Manager to join their expanding sales team at a pivotal moment in their growth journey. This is an excellent opportunity to shape the future of telecommunications while advancing your career in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

What They Offer


  • Salary: £50,000+ per annum (dependent on experience) with a competitive commission package.
  • Benefits: Car allowance, laptop, mobile phone, 20 days annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays and birthday leave), and pension enrolment after 3 months.
  • Flexibility: After initial training, work remotely with occasional visits to their Gloucester office.

Key Responsibilities


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets, and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring ongoing satisfaction.
  • Close sales deals with telecommunications network operators.
  • Represent them at industry events and conferences to promote their brand and solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions to customers.
  • Develop and present sales forecasts, strategies, and outcomes to senior management.
  • Lead tender application processes and deliver compelling sales presentations.

What They’re Looking For


  • A proactive, forward-thinking sales professional with a proven track record in business development.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Solid IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet ambitious targets.
  • Comprehensive understanding of telecommunications products and market competition.
  • Familiarity with telecoms industry trends and standards.

Desirable Experience


  • 5+ years in the telecoms sector.
  • Qualifications in business management, marketing, or sales.
  • Leadership and management experience.
