Overview
We are seeking a skilled forklift fitter to join our team. The role involves repair, maintenance, and diagnostics work on forklifts, with a focus on forklifts from 10 tons upwards. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday, offering plenty of overtime options.
Responsibilities
- Conducting repair, maintenance, and diagnostics work on forklifts
- Working on forklifts from 10 tons upwards
- Ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards
- Traveling to customer sites for on-the-road maintenance and repair work
Qualifications
- NVQ level 3 in forklift maintenance or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in forklift repair and maintenance
- Strong understanding of forklift systems and components
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Day-to-Day
- Conducting repair and maintenance work at our site
- Traveling to customer locations for on-the-road maintenance and repair work
- Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient operations
