Mobile Plant Engineer

My client is an industry leading; family ran company. Due to a successful period, they are now looking for an experienced plant fitter to join their engineering team to work as a Mobile Plant Engineer where you will be tasked with attending clients’ sites to fault find, service and repairs of plant machinery covering London and the surrounding area. This is an exciting role for an engineer that is experienced within the industry.

Mobile Plant Engineer

Location: London and surrounding area

Workshop: Feltham  

£45,000 - £50,000 basic salary (DOE), Overtime paid at 1.5, door to door, 20 days plus Bank Holidays, phone, van, fuel card and pension.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Attending clients’ sites to perform services and repairs or plant machinery.
• Ensuring your van is stocked correctly.
• Completing the correct documentation accurately and in time.
• Always representing the company in a professional manner.

To apply you MUST have or hold:

• Experience in servicing, fault finding and repairing heavy plant machinery.
• Good mechanical / hydraulic knowledge.
• Experience of working within a Plant Engineering environment.
• An understanding of hydraulic systems is a benefit but not essential.
• LOLER & PUWER knowledge is advantageous.
• NVQ Level 3 in Plant Engineering.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Good HSE knowledge.
• In date CSCS Cards.
• Full UK driving licence.
