Project Engineer
Cottingham
Monday – Thursday 8:30AM – 5:00PM / Friday 8:30AM – 3:00PM
DOE £30k to £45k
25 days holiday + bank holidays, overtime, pool car / van, statutory pension, mobile phone, staying away allowance + expenses paid
Founded in 2011, we were established by four processing engineers who have over 100 years of combined experience. We supply material handling equipment to blue chip clients for all their distillery needs. From offering bespoke designs to the installation of this equipment. Health and safety are a massive driving factor, ensuring all aspects of the production environment are not bogged down by the pressures and demands. We now have the opportunity to welcome a project engineer into our team and play a key part in executing our bespoke installations and innovative bulk handling solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project engineering initiatives for material handling solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery
- Communicate effectively with clients and site engineers to address needs and concerns
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Knowledge of fabrication processes
- Relevant site experience in engineering projects
- Experience in grain handling / similar bulk material handling is a bonus but a keen to learn attitude is essential
Skills:
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Approachable with customer focused experience
- Ability to problem solve and jump in with other aspects
- AutoCAD knowledge with SolidWorks being useful
- Used to working on a varied project cycle and cost
This role pays up to £45k for a strong project engineer where previous same industry experience is only desired not essential, this opportunity comes along with 25 days holiday with a daily allowance and work van when site visits are needed.
