We are the largest independent dealership in Sheffield for Forklift Trucks, with our legacy dating back over 50 years. Due to expansion, we are now looking to add a new Field Service Engineer to our family. With over 15 brands of forklift trucks in our range, the right person will need a great and extensive background knowledg. For a small workforce we are doing well in the field with a great client base, our service and experience prove us as the best.

Your day would start with your allocated work scheduled in, you will visit the customer and ensure their equipment is repaired and maintained. If there are any parts that need ordering, you will need to liaise with the office workers which creates a faster day for you to get to the next job. You will need experience with a vast range of forklift trucks from gas and diesel with some electrical knowledge. Your next job is scheduled around where you are with it being 30 minutes from your current location so you will never be too far from where you are needed.

Skills:

• Background in service engineering in the plant or forklift truck background
• Read Electrical and Hydraulic schematics
• Technical Expertise with a proven industry background
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication in reports
• Cross channel communication with service control desk
• Self-starter who wants to achieve the most out of the working day
• Safety awareness
• Live half hour from patch
• Full clean drivers license
