We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a plant fitter. This workshop-based role involves working on a variety of plant and tools, including excavators up to 8 tons, diggers, telehandlers, breakers, generators, as well as smaller tools like drills and grinders.Responsibilities
- Conducting maintenance and repairs on a range of plant and tools
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Ensuring all equipment is safe and fully operational
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on similar plant and tools
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
Day-to-day
Your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting maintenance and repairs on a range of plant and tools, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring all equipment is safe and fully operational.Benefits
- Competitive salary of up to £33,000 basic
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 with overtime
- Working hours are 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, totaling a 47.5-hour week
