We are seeking a talented and dynamic Business Development Manager with a focus on Fire & Security and Life Safety Systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, and possess strong industry knowledge in fire systems and disabled refuge products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth and profitability within the organization.

Responsibilities



  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Fire & Security and Life Safety Systems sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants, and decision-makers within the industry.
  • Drive the sales process from initial contact through to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with the project and maintenance teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to the business development team to achieve established targets.

Qualifications



  • Proven experience in business development within the Fire & Security and Life Safety Systems industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of fire products, disabled refuge, and other fire products.
  • Strong management skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions to clients.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to drive successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving business objectives.

Day-to-day



  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential growth areas.
  • Engage with clients to understand their specific requirements and tailor solutions to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop winning proposals and presentations.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adjust business development strategies.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on business development initiatives and results.
