Job Title: Mechanic / Vehicle technician
Location: Blackburn
Salary: Up to £40,000 per year (Dependent on Experience)
Holidays: 23 days annual leave + bank holidaysJob Description:
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Mechanic to join our team in Blackburn. The successful candidate will be responsible for vehicle servicing, MOT testing, and a wide range of repair work. Hours of work are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pmKey Responsibilities:
- Carrying out Vehicle servicing, replacement of brakes, clutches, tyres, cambelts and general vehicle repairs.
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.
- Reporting to the Master Technician.
- Performing MOT tests and ensuring vehicles meet legal standards
- Diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently
- Ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanic working on Cars, Vans or Motorhomes
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualified in Vehicle Maintenance and repair.
- MOT certification preferred (not essential)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
