Location: Midlands / Hybrid
Basic Salary: Up to £55,000 | Genuine OTE £100K+

The combination of competitive pricing, robust machine capabilities (with AOVs ranging from £35K to £250K), and a well-established service network of trusted subcontractors has earned them strong approval from customers across the UK.
Following this success, they are now seeking to expand their team with a Technical Sales Engineer to take ownership of the Midlands territory.
The Role:
This is a hands-on, autonomous sales role suited to someone with a strong CNC machining or tooling background, who enjoys consultative selling and is passionate about helping customers find the right solution.
Drive new business and develop the Midlands territory
Sell a full range of CNC machines:
Vertical Machining Centres
Turning Centres
5-Axis Machining Centres
Sliding Head Lathes
Automation Solutions
Conduct customer visits, respond to inbound leads, and carry out on-site and showroom demonstrations
Represent SYIL UK at industry exhibitions and on international trips
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
Report on pipeline activity and work closely with the wider team to support ongoing success
Key Requirements:
At least 3 years' experience in a technical sales role within CNC or machine tools
Strong machining knowledge with the ability to understand and demonstrate machine capabilities
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Willing to travel across the Midlands with occasional overseas visits
