Sales Account Manager
We're recruiting on behalf of a UK manufacturer in the commercial lighting and interior products sector. They're looking for a Sales Account Manager to join their team.
Role Overview
You'll be handling incoming sales enquiries, preparing quotes, following up with customers, and helping convert quotes into orders. The role requires understanding technical specifications and working closely with both customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries and understand their product needs
- Create quotes based on drawings and specifications
- Follow up on quotes to turn them into orders
- Log activity and manage leads using a CRM system
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Contact existing and potential customers regularly to grow sales
- Work to grow revenue in your assigned sales area by at least 20%
- Support the wider sales team in meeting monthly targets
Requirements
- Sales experience in lighting or the commercial interior fit-out industry
- Comfortable reading and interpreting technical drawings/specs
- Confident communicator with strong people skills
- Motivated and target-driven
- Organised, reliable, and able to manage time well
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
Pay & Benefits
- Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per year
- Bonus scheme after 6-month probation
- Standard hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm (some flexibility possible)
- Office-based, full-time role
