We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Fitter to join our team. The majority of the work will be based in the workshop, with occasional breakdowns on the road, covering London and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have experience in plant machinery and hold an NVQ level 2 in plant.Responsibilities
- Conducting maintenance and repairs on a range of small tools, 18 metre telehandlers, 9 ton diggers, 6 ton dumpers, and various other plant machinery.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs both in the workshop and on-site.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.Qualifications
- NVQ level 2 in plant or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience working with a variety of plant machinery.Day-to-day
The role will involve working on small tools up to 18 metre telehandlers, 9 ton diggers, 6 ton dumpers, and everything in between. The working hours are 7am to 5pm, totalling a 45-hour work week. Overtime is paid at time and a half.Benefits
- Competitive basic salary of £45,000 with an OTE of £50,000.
