Are you an experienced Sales Administrator with a passion for the packaging industry? I am seeking a dynamic professional to be the bridge between customers, internal purchasing, logistics and external sales team for a Luxury Packaging Company.
Sales Administrator
Salary: £25,000 - £29,000
Benefits: 21 days holiday plus bank holidays 3% matched pension, salary increases, plus opportunities to grow in to a more of a senior role.
Location: Huddersfield
The Sales Administrator will play a key role in supporting the sales team by ensuring seamless communication between customers and internal departments. You will be responsible for managing customer accounts, overseeing order processing, and maintaining high standards of service throughout the sales cycle. This position focuses on building and nurturing strong relationships with both new and existing customers, re-engaging lapsed accounts, and assisting in sales growth through effective up-selling and cross-selling initiatives. In addition, you will handle routine administrative duties, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process customer orders and sales admin tasks
- Raising purchase orders
- Requesting templates from suppliers/artworkers
- Provide exceptional service while addressing customer queries and orders
- Identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities to grow sales
- Conduct research and outbound calls to develop new business
- Support the external sales team and manage order/quotation administration
- Use the internal CRM system and collaborate with logistics and procurement
Essential:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales tool
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in sales administration or a similar role is a plus
- Not essential, but experience in salesforce or Trello would be ideal, but similar will be considered.
- Must be able to work in the office full time - no remote.
