Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a leading distributor of crushers, screeners, recycling, and transportation equipment. The role involves nationwide travel, providing expert maintenance and repair services to our valued clients. Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of heavy plant machinery, including crushers, screeners, and recycling equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency.
- Provide on-site support to clients across the country, ensuring minimal downtime for their operations.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Qualifications
- Proven experience working with heavy plant machinery and equipment.
- Ideally qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Experience with crushers, screeners, and recycling equipment is advantageous but not essential.
- Full UK driving license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Day-to-Day
- Travel nationwide to client sites, providing expert maintenance and repair services.
- Use a company-provided van and fuel card for all work-related travel.
- Work a 45-hour week with opportunities for overtime.
- Engage in hands-on diagnostics, repairs, and servicing of heavy plant machinery.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met and equipment is restored to full functionality.
