Position: Mechanical / Electrical Fitter

Location: Banbury

Salary: £25,000 per year

About the Role

We are recruiting a Mechanical / Electrical Fitter on behalf of our client, a specialist machinery manufacturer based in Banbury. This role involves the assembly, wiring, and testing of machinery and systems to high quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
• Assemble mechanical components and perform electrical wiring
• Carry out control box and full system wiring
• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete final testing and checks of finished products
• Work in line with ISO processes and Health & Safety requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Strong mechanical assembly skills with electrical wiring experience (ideally electrically biased)
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and engineering drawings
• Understanding of pneumatic assemblies
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
