An exciting Senior Quality Engineer role has become available. Working closely with the Factory Manager in a fast paced manufacturing environment the Senior Quality Engineer will be key to driving continuous improvements, resolving issues and reducing cost of poor quality.
Quality Engineer
Location - Bentham
Salary - £38,000 -£45,000 (Depending on Experience), 25 days plus Bank Holidays, Company pension, life insurance.Hours – 37.5 hours per week 8am – 4.30pm (Mon-Thursday) 8am – 1.30pm(Friday)
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Prepare KPIs for submission to Factory Manager.
- Facilitate customer complaint investigations.
- Work with supply chain on all processes.
- Undertake First Article Inspection Reports.
- Support new product development.
- Conduct calibration of all measurement equipment.
- Assist in reviewing and updating procedures to support QMS.
- Facilitate audits from external bodies and 3rd party inspectors.
- Conduct internal process audits.
- Produce internal reports and relay to Factory Manager.
To apply you MUST have or hold:
- Quality / Engineering knowledge.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Internal audit experience.
- Knowledge of problem solving withing engineering, continuous improvement processes (Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA).
- Knowledge of the manufacturing process and the ability to establish solutions.
- Excellent communication both verbally and written.
- An understanding of ISO9001 AND QMS.
- Close attention to detail.
- The ability to understanding technical documents.
