We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Attachment Fitter to join our team. This is a mobile role with occasional workshop-based work, focusing primarily on repairs to attachments, with some fitting responsibilities. - Perform repairs on a variety of attachments, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Conduct fitting tasks as required, both on-site and in the workshop.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with attachments.
- Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and the company-provided van.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on-site and in the workshop.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical fitting or repair work, preferably with attachments or similar equipment.
- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A valid UK driving licence is essential for this mobile role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
Day-to-Day
- Start your day at 7:30 am, working through to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Travel to client sites to perform repairs and fittings, with occasional work in the workshop.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Keep accurate records of work completed and communicate updates to the team.
- Ensure the company van is well-maintained and stocked with necessary tools and parts.
