We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Powered Access Engineer to join our team. - Conduct routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of powered access equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained to the highest safety and operational standards.
- Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients on-site.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in training and development programs to stay updated with industry standards and advancements.
Qualifications
- CAP (Competent Assessed Person) qualification is essential.
- Proven experience in maintaining and repairing powered access equipment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Full UK driving license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Day-to-Day
- Start your day by reviewing scheduled maintenance and repair tasks.
- Travel to client sites using the company-provided van and fuel card.
- Perform inspections, servicing, and repairs on powered access equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good condition.
- Communicate with the service team and clients to provide updates on job progress.
- Complete and submit service reports at the end of each task.
